Easy accessibility to the conference venue is crucial for our guests. That’s why Alpbach is the top choice for many of our long-term partners, such as the European Forum Alpbach. Located just 90 minutes from Munich Airport and 45 minutes from Innsbruck Airport, Congress Centrum Alpbach is nestled in the Tyrolean Alps, offering a serene and inspiring setting away from the bustling cities. Congress Centrum Alpbach is right in the village centre and within walking distance from most of our accommodation partners.

Getting to Alpbach
Whether you travel by car or public transport, Alpbach can easily be reached by car, plane, train and bus. As a Green-Meeting-certified conference centre, we recommend using public transport and other sustainable travel options whenever possible.
Arriving by plane
The proximity to several nearby airports makes Alpbach an attractive event location for international companies, research institutes and organisations.

The Green Meeting village of Alpbach can easily be reached by public transport. With their booking confirmation, overnight guests can travel free of charge from the arrival train station to Alpbach using the VVT line (regional bus). This service is also available for your return journey.
On site, you will receive the free Alpbachtal Card at your accommodation, which allows you to use public transport at no cost and enjoy many additional benefits during your stay. Check out the timetables and routes of the local buses in the Alpbachtal valley!

For event organisers & guests
Both the Austrian and German Railways offer discounted rates if you hold your event at Congress Centrum Alpbach. For instance, with the “ÖBB-Kongresskonto”, you receive a 22 per cent discount on standard tickets. With the “Veranstaltungsticket” (“event ticket”), which is available at a nationwide fixed price, Deutsche Bahn also provides a convenient and eco-friendly travel solution.
Arriving by car
By car, you can reach Alpbach via the toll motorway Inntal-Autobahn A12. Take the exit Kramsach / Brixlegg / Alpbachtal, from there it’s only nine kilometres to Alpbach. Alternatively, coming from Munich, you can travel toll-free via Tegernsee / Achenseepass.
Parking in Alpbach
Congress Centrum Alpbach has a paid underground car park with a total of 113 spaces. It is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Parking is billed in half-hour increments, and license plates are recorded digitally. Payments can be made conveniently via an app or at the ticket machine on the first underground level. Cash payments are not accepted. We recommend leaving your car at your accommodation, as Congress Centrum Alpbach can easily be reached on foot from most hotels and guesthouses.
As a sustainable meeting venue with Green Meeting certification, we support electric mobility by providing five EV charging points (type 2, 22 kW) in our underground car park. These are located directly behind the entrance barrier – simply scan the QR code, enter your credit card number and start the charging process! In addition, some accommodations have their own electric charging stations available for guests.

The CCA underground car park boasts three reserved parking spaces for organisers. Exhibitors and suppliers can use a dedicated delivery zone located on the first underground level, conveniently close to the freight elevator, which leads directly to the CCA seminar rooms.
Please note the following maximum dimensions:
- Maximum height: 3.90 m (depending on configuration)
- Maximum weight: 18 t
- Maximum vehicle width:
- 1st underground level: 2.10 m
- 2nd underground level: 2.05 m
Entry with a semi-trailer or trailer is not possible due to the curve at the entrance. In addition, trucks require their own loading ramp, as no forklift is available. For more information and photos of the site, please refer to our brochure.
