At Congress Centrum Alpbach, sustainability is a matter of course. It is our daily business and the driving force behind our actions. We believe that our industry, as a multiplier, offers excellent opportunities to actively promote this topic. That’s why we have been focusing on ecological, economic and social encounters with added value for over 15 years.

The sustainable CCA
With a facade-integrated photovoltaic system and a geothermal heat pump for both heating and cooling, Congress Centrum Alpbach meets the highest sustainability standards. That’s why the Austrian “klimaaktiv” initiative awarded it as a particularly energy-efficient building. Thanks to its hillside design, it also blends harmoniously into Alpbach’s traditional village architecture.

As a certified Green Meeting location, the CCA offers ideal conditions for hosting your congress or convention in an authentically sustainable way. We are happy to share our knowledge through bespoke coaching, paving the way for a free certification of your event.

In addition to Congress Centrum Alpbach, many other businesses in the Alpbachtal valley proudly carry the Austrian Ecolabel. Currently, more than 20 certified accommodation providers and nine restaurants are making a clear statement for mindful, eco-friendly operations together with us.
