The Alpbach approach is clearly green, which is why numerous processes and aspects related to event management have been optimised. The CCA as a green pioneer
As a Green-Meeting-certified venue, Congress Centrum Alpbach holds a special place in the conference region. The building was designed with respect for the surrounding nature. Based on a thought-out architectural concept, our event venue was built into the hillside, ensuring a harmonious blend with the surrounding village character as well as excellent insulation values.
Numerous ecological aspects were considered during the planning process, without compromising on technology and comfort requirements.

Our event centre is a “klimaaktiv” building. This official label awarded by the Austrian Ministry of Agriculture, Regions and Tourism assesses a building’s energy efficiency, planning and execution, building materials and construction, as well as key aspects of comfort and indoor air quality. The distinction is only awarded to locations that deliver exceptional quality in the abovementioned areas.
The CCA proudly holds this quality seal. After all, we believe that the well-being and concentration of individuals can be positively influenced by thoughtful building design. By respectfully blending with the natural environment of the mountain village and offering flexible space concepts, our facility makes a significant contribution to this approach – and, ultimately, to the success of your event.

In addition to the globally renowned Green Globe Certificate , which has been awarded to us at Platinum status, we also carry the Austrian Ecolabel as a “Green Location”. Furthermore, the CCA has voluntarily committed to the sustainable fairpflichtet industry code. We are also a proud licensee of the Austrian Ecolabel for “Green Meetings and Events”, enabling us to officially certify your event.
