The sun terrace
Congress Centrum Alpbach’s spacious sun terrace is a hidden gem for special moments. With breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, the terrace on Level 2 provides direct access to the green roof of our climate-friendly building, making it a unique feature of our conference venue.
In summer, an alpine wildflower meadow blooms on the green roof, inviting guests to take deep breaths, relax and let their gaze wander across the idyllic panorama during conference breaks. On one side, you see the charming wooden houses of the village of Alpbach, and on the other, the impressive mountain peaks – the perfect place to take a breather. The sun terrace is also a popular choice for catering, breakout sessions or team activities.
The forecourt
Step outside: The expansive forecourt of Congress Centrum Alpbach, directly adjacent to the Europa Foyer, offers the perfect extension of your event space. The area connects to the foyer‘s striking glass facade and is conveniently located near the “Denker-Weg” (Thinker’s Path), which starts just above the conference venue.
Whether it’s as a meeting point, as an exhibition space for products or vehicles or a venue for receptions and evening events like the village festival with market stalls: The forecourt of Congress Centrum Alpbach is a valuable addition to our indoor room options.
