With our mobility choices, we can all make a significant contribution to environmental protection. That’s why we encourage our guests to make a sustainable choice for their journey to Congress Centrum Alpbach.
A convenient advantage: The CCA is not only well-connected to public transport but also within walking distance of many accommodation partners.
By bus & train
The Green Meeting village of Alpbach is easy to reach by public transport. The travel time from Munich Hauptbahnhof is about two hours, and from Vienna, it‘s approximately five hours.
Express trains and regional trains stop at the following nearby stations:
- Jenbach (20 km)
- Wörgl (25 km)
- Brixlegg (10 km)
- Rattenberg (12 km)
Good to know: Overnight guests arriving by train can travel onwards to Alpbach free of charge from the train stations of Brixlegg and Wörgl. The booking confirmation acts as a free ticket for the local VVT bus line (Regiobus). What’s more, holders of an Alpbachtal Card, which is available free of charge from your accommodation provider, can travel around Alpbach with regional buses for free – and enjoy many additional benefits.

With the Deutsche Bahn event ticket, you can travel from Germany to Kufstein station in Austria at a fixed nationwide price. - ÖBB Kongresskonto
Thanks to the “ÖBB Congress Account” of the Austrian Federal Railways, event participants travelling by train receive a 22 % discount on ÖBB standard tickets in Austria. This offer can be booked and provided to guests by the event organiser.
By car
Alpbach is easy to reach by car from all directions. The nearest airports are approximately one hour (Innsbruck) and two hours away (Salzburg and Munich). For groups, we can arrange shuttles from Munich and Innsbruck airports to Alpbach, as well as from Brixlegg, Wörgl and Jenbach train stations.
If driving is unavoidable this time, you can still make your journey to Congress Centrum Alpbach more eco-friendly by carpooling or using electric vehicles.
