Five modular halls and a light-filled foyer: Level 1 East at Congress Centrum Alpbach offers creative possibilities to stage modern events. The highlight of this area is the light cone, the centrepiece of the art foyer, designed to resemble a mountain crystal. Nestled into the hillside, it creates a bright and pleasant atmosphere, which extends into all the adjacent halls thanks to the unique light reflections.

The Liechtenstein hall, one of Congress Centrum Alpbach’s five flexible halls on Level 1 East, offers a wide range of usage options. It can be seamlessly combined with the Hayek hall to create an even larger space and has direct access to the art foyer, where the impressive light cone adds a special ambience.
August Friedrich von Hayek hall
The August Friedrich von Hayek hall can also be perfectly tailored to your event needs – for instance, by combining it with the Liechtenstein hall. Like the adjacent hall, this space features state-of-the-art technology and access to the art foyer with its distinctive light cone.
Liechtenstein & von Hayek halls
The Liechtenstein and von Hayek halls on Level 1 East can be flexibly connected. Whether lengthwise or crosswise, their combination offers diverse usage possibilities. Two entry and exit points provide direct access to the impressive Art Foyer.
Arthur Koestler hall
On its own or combined with the Gottfried von Einem hall: At 58 square metres, the Arthur Koestler hall is a popular choice for various event formats. This room also offers direct access to the central Art Foyer.
Gottfried von Einem hall
Offering theatre-style or classroom-style seating, the Gottfried von Einem hall can be flexibly arranged to accommodate up to 70 guests. Equipped with the latest technology, including an integrated projector, it offers ideal conditions for successful events.
Koestler & von Einem halls
Larger groups benefit from the combination of both rooms on Level 1 East. Together, the Arthur Koestler hall and the Gottfried von Einem hall provide a spacious total area of 131 square metres. With two entry and exit points to the art foyer and state-of-the-art equipment, these rooms create an inviting environment for inspiring and successful events.
Sir Karl Popper hall
The Sir Karl Popper hall boasts a large window front that offers a beautiful view of the forecourt. Equipped with the latest technology, this room meets the highest standards of modern event organisation. In addition to essentials like screens and flipcharts, the technology can be flexibly expanded based on customer needs.
Art Foyer
Thanks to its sophisticated light cone, the Art Foyer on Level 1 East is an architectural highlight of the building. Spanning an impressive 345 square metres, it provides direct access to the halls on Level 1 East as well as those on Level 1 West, allowing for flexible room layouts and seamless transitions between areas. The light cone can also be used as a branding area to creatively showcase your brand.
