At a glance

The European Forum Alpbach is the reason why the Congress Centrum Alpbach, with its unique structure, has been such a success story. A constant rise in the number of participants and the need to bring the centre up to present day standards made the extension necessary.
Level 1 West will have a seating capacity of up to 850 in theatre seating installed in the plenary hall Herz-Kremenak.

As with the existent building (Level 1 East and Level 2) the extension (Level 1 West) to a large extent is situated underground and at the same time is illuminated by daylight.
The movable partition walls system enables multi-functional use of areas and allows for multifaceted event formats:

• congresses and conferences
• corporate events and meetings
• exhibitions, trade fairs and road shows
• special events and incentives.

With the CCA extension, the in-house technology was upgraded and is adapted to suit the latest forms of communication. Special lighting technology provides the perfect ambience for various settings.
